Advanced Apprenticeship in Residential Property Letting & Management

This is usually a one year to 18 months programme for negotiators with an existing level of experience in lettings and property management already, and who are looking to develop their skills & knowledge. There are many options within the programme, so that the training can be tailored to suit your individual needs, but the apprenticeship would typically include things like:

  • Legislation relating to residential letting & property management
  • Effective marketing of property
  • Gaining instructions from landlords
  • Negotiating tenancies

+ many other options such as market appraisals, producing inventories, organising maintenance of properties, depending on the needs of your business and your apprentice. On achievement you may be eligible to apply for membership of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).

The apprenticeship will include achievement of:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Property Letting & Management
  • Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English / Maths (although exemptions may apply)
  • Employment Rights & Responsibilities Workbook
  • Personal Learning & Thinking Skills

 

To be eligible, the apprentice must:

  • Be working in a suitable environment with appropriate opportunities to develop their estate agency skills
  • Be employed with at least a one year contract
  • Be working at least 30 hours per week
  • Be aged 16 or over
  • Not have any existing qualifications at Level 4 or over (or equivalent)
